It comes in a wave of understanding when my prayers become mostly petitions. It is great that I have such a desire to see the LORD help others but wait,
have I lost the most important thing ?
Yet my petitions to help others are weighty and will their needs still get met if I step aside and check to see, do I still have the most important thing ?
When once I decide I must check , or else I'll be doing this all in vain. I realize just how truthful that thought was , when I find, I need this most important thing in order for all my petitions to mean anything. They will be lost in the wind if I do not have this most important thing , so I must stop my mind from running a muck with please help .........and please help .......
I must stop and wait for the HOLY SPIRIT .
I must give Him opportunity to give me words of thanksgiving.
I must wait and let Him open my heart with thoughts of praise and worship.
Or I've lost it, the most important thing.
